Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were very warm and comfortable, offering a good size and a nice view over the park, which was a big improvement from the older rooms I have stayed in before. However, the room temperature became extremely hot when the heating came on early in the morning, which was not acceptable. The service was top-notch, with a friendly and welcoming team, especially the bar staff led by the bar Supervisor DIO. They were all polite, professional, and fun, making for an excellent night. The location was convenient, with good parking at the hotel and easy access to the city center by bus. When it comes to dining, the meals were good overall, but the prices were on the higher side, especially for breakfast. The hotel facilities were in good condition. Value for money was reasonable, but improvements in room temperature control could enhance the overall experience.
I was on the highest floor with a great view and a very clean room. However, there were some minor issues like the non-blackout turrets on the blinds, a non-functional TV in the bathroom, a very firm mattress, and toiletries that could've been better quality.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were a bit disappointing, outdated, and basic for the price, but the shower facilities were excellent. However, the service was fantastic, with helpful staff and spotless room maintenance. The location was ideal, not too far from the city center and with a warm and relaxing ambiance, although there were some issues with communication. The dining experience was average, with self-service and regular replenishment but with room for improvement in quality. Overall, it was a stay with ups and downs, offering value for money in some aspects but lacking in others.
The hotel boasts lovely views of Edinburgh Castle from the rooms and the staff are brilliant, though the rooms are a bit on the small side. The location offers a fantastic view of Edinburgh but is a few miles from the city center on a bus route. The dining experience serves a wonderful meal to start the day. Overall, a comfortable stay with minor drawbacks.
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The rooms were very large, clean, and comfortable, a big improvement on the old rooms I've stayed in before. The staff were reasonably co-operative and provided everything I needed, including new sheets and towels. The location was very good, with easy access to the city center and close to shops, restaurants, and a lovely cinema. However, the dining experience was average at best and overpriced. Overall, a great value for the money.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room had a musty smell and felt stuffy, not quite as deluxe as expected. On the bright side, the view over the nearby park was lovely, and the room had a small chair in a turret surrounded by windows. The service was a bit lacking at check-in but greatly improved during my stay with friendly and helpful staff. The location was convenient for both visiting family and accessing the city. Dining options were decent but not outstanding. Overall, an average experience with room for improvement.
I had a fantastic stay at the hotel with clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and a great location. The dining experience was good overall, but there were some minor issues. The facilities were well-maintained and added to the positive experience.
The hotel had lovely rooms with a view over the park, but they lacked a mirror in the bedroom making it harder to see when using the hair dryer. The breakfast was enjoyable, but the rooms were cold with poor windows leading to a lot of traffic noise. The location was excellent for accessing Edinburgh city, although some rooms were on the ground level near the bar area.
My stay at the hotel was lovely overall. The rooms were clean and tidy, albeit with a few aesthetic touch-ups needed. The view from the window was beautiful, though not as advertised from the bed. The service was extremely nice and helpful, although a bit sullen at times. The location was good, with easy access to public transportation into Edinburgh. The dining experience was excellent, offering a good variety of options but with a slight inconvenience of carrying food along a corridor. Overall, a pleasant stay with some minor areas for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were well-equipped and offered a view over the nearby park, though a bit small for a truly relaxing experience after a long journey. The service was very helpful and pleasant, especially during check-in and check-out. The location was very convenient, with easy access to transportation and nearby attractions. The dining experience had its challenges, mainly with the variety and warmth of the cooked food. Facilities were adequate for a comfortable stay.
The hotel has a convenient location with easy access to town centers via the nearby bus stop, making it ideal for exploring Edinburgh. While the room I stayed in was cramped for a double, it had a well-stocked selection of beverages. The service was generally good, despite some noise disruptions, and the dining options were varied, though with minor breakfast issues. The facilities were decent overall.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the breakfast offered a good selection of both hot and cold items. The location was excellent for exploring Edinburgh, but it was a bit noisy. The dining experience was enjoyable overall, and the service was top-notch.
